In-Home Lactation Consult

During this 60-90 minute visit, I will do a breast assessment, a physical assessment of your baby (including oral function), observe a breastfeed, and do a weighted feed with my clinical scale. We’ll discuss your feeding goals and concerns, and I’ll explain my recommendations and suggested plan based on my assessment. Following the visit, I will send you a summary and educational resources via email. 

This package includes:

  • 60-90 minute in-home consultation
  • Email summary of my recommended plan of care
  • Comprehensive breastfeeding eBook
  • 7 consecutive days of follow-up email messaging support

Virtual Feeding Consult

Breastfeeding, bottle feeding, pumping, or starting solids — I can help you anywhere! During this hour-long video call (via a secure platform) I will perform a feeding assessment, answer your questions, and share my recommendations. You can also use this service to ask any of your feeding, schedule, or pumping questions.

This service includes:

  • 60 minute video consultation (via HIPAA compliant platform)
  • Comprehensive feeding eBook related to your primary topic of concern (Breastfeeding, Pumping and Bottle Feeding, Starting Solids, or Weaning)

Frequently Asked Questions

I am not in-network with insurance plans, but my lactation services may be covered under your Out-of-Network benefits. Payment is due prior to your consultation, and you will be provided with a SuperBill with the necessary coding for you to submit to your insurance company. Depending on your coverage they will reimburse you directly for either a portion or the entire fee. You can call and speak to your insurance administrator to ask about coverage for Out-of-Network Lactation services and they should be able to explain the level of reimbursement.

I travel anywhere within Westchester County, including Chappaqua, Pleasantville, Briarcliff, Mount Kisco, Tarrytown, Hartsdale, Scarsdale, Thornwood, Hawthorne, Armonk, White Plains, New Rochelle, Mamaroneck, Rye, Valhalla, Millwood, Croton, and more. See map below for full service area. If you live outside of Westchester, you can opt for a virtual visit, or I can provide you with a referral to a local IBCLC.

I typically am able to schedule your consult within 2-7 days of the initial request.

After your consult you will receive an email summary of your care plan and relevant educational resources. You’ll have 7 consecutive days of my follow-up support through email. My email response time is within 24 hours.
